I took the pictures below last weekend. As you can see the trees contain some recent damage - the bark has been removed and some branches broken. Do you know what caused this damage?
A deer is to blame; a buck to be specific. He was rubbing his antlers on these trees, perhaps to loosen and remove the felt and/or to make his territory. A small buck has been seen in the area.
