Outlook Spam, UGH!
Sure wish Microsoft would get their _hit together and resolve the spam issue in Outlook!
I've flagged this spam as "junk", I've flagged is as "phishing" and simply just delete them but they keep coming and coming and coming, SO very annoying!
And to think there is so much effort put into these scamming emails from POS trying to take advantage of people. Sadly, I'm sure there are plenty of people that fall victim to all these scams.
But really, you'd think Microsoft of all companies, would have the resources and knowledge to figure out this issue and address it immediately, and frustrating that they can't\haven't yet.

Now That's Italian!
I made my first lasagna yesterday and it came out pretty darn good too!
I used ground chicken instead of beef. Better for you, less greasy, and tastes better too IMO. Using only one jar of sauce left it a tad dry, so I will add more sauce the next time I make it but I enjoyed making it and especially enjoyed eating it!
Eaten with a nice Merlot, yum!

"Springing" Up!

Last weekend it was in the single digits cold and minus zero with the wind-chill., brrr!
Friday we hit 60 degrees in Boston

Lesson Learned...
"It's simple to install yourself", they said.
"Quick installation", they said.
"The easy and affordable alternative to installing a C-wire", they said.
Well, I have to say, NOT my experience!
I had to hire an electrician to install both - $
Both of my Google Nest thermostats worked fine for about a month.
Last weekend my furnace just stopped working.
Plumber called - $$
After testing the system, his assessment was that the furnace pieces and parts were all working as expected. He suspected the issue was electrical and he suspected the above shown Nest power adapters were the cause.
Electrician called - $
After testing the electrical, he conferred the Nest power adapters were bad and causing the furnace problems, so he removed them. He then retested the electrical and all was working as expected.
Reinstalled the original thermostats (thankfully I held onto them) and all was, is and still working fine!
I purchased the Nest thermostats at a great sale price but ultimately this was an expensive lesson. I now have two Nest thermostats sitting on the shelf in my basement, glorified paperweights.
Crockpot Crazy
I've been on a crock pot tear lately and getting pretty creative and luv'n my new fixation on veggies!
Seems all of my creations actually turn out to be stews and I'm perfectly fine with that, as they're SO delicious! I get several dinners and lunches out of each creations and find myself eating every piece right down to using a piece of bread to get every drop in the pot too!
Here are a few I've made this past month -
Lemon pepper pork loin with a couple strips of bacon layered on the bottom -
Teriyaki stew beef -
Chinese style Ah-So sauce pork rib roast -
Oodles of veggies and garlic!
