I drove over 600 miles before I saw my first cow! I mean, I’ve seen cows before but on my journey from Massachusetts to Tennessee, it wasn’t until I crossed into Virginia till I saw my first. After that, they were constant throughout the rest of my trek through the state.
I’m sure in passed some in New York and Pennsylvania and West Virginia but missed them.
However, I did see oodles of deer, sadly they were all roadkill! I’d guess close to a dozen! Matter of fact, a big does ran out across our SUV when we were returning home from lunch this afternoon in downtown Johnson City. That one survived…
