Caught this beautiful Black Rat Snake on our farm yesterday!
It tried to get away but there was no where for it to go, as we were in the open field. Guessing close to 3 feet long and not overly aggressive at all.
When bushhogging the property last week we noticed oodles of mice scurrying about, so after admiring this dude, I let it loose with instructions to search out the rodents and help keep them in check -
