Monarda

My Beebalm are doing great this summer!

They're enjoying all the rain and humidity.

The two different colors look nice together.

The bees and flying insects love them, as do the hummingbirds.  One of the nice things about these flowers is that the deer and rabbits and woodchucks have no interest in them and leave them alone.

Monarda - Our Flowering Mint

Our Bee Balm, which we have in various spots, are all in full bloom and look amazing!  We have reds and pinks.  Would like to get a hold of some purple and white too.  Looks like a trip to the local nursery.

The bees, butterflies, and all sorts of flying insects love them too.

One of the nice things about Bee Balm is that the deer don't bother it!  Nope, they don't like the taste of it and leave it alone!

Nectar-Seeking Creatures, Come!

Our Bee Balm, aka Monarda, is doing fantastic!

One of the great things about this mint family flower is that the critters, i.e. deer, rabbits and woodchucks, don't bother with it!  Seems like all other surrounding flowers are eaten back but not these beauties.

We have three different color of this plant - a beautiful deep red, shown above, which came from my folks place, a light purple and a pink.
