640 Pages Never Went So Fast!

Although, I don't care for his wacky, left leaning political views and opinions, I do enjoy a good Stephen King novel.

It's been many years since I've read one of his books, for whatever reason. I picked this book up at a used book store a couple weeks ago, The Outsider, but only started reading it on Tuesday afternoon and finished it last night!

Once I started, and got into it, it was hard to put down.

Onto the next...

Grisham To Patterson

Stayed up a bit past my bedtime last night to finish this novel!  Banged it out in less than 3-days!

Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down.

Another terrific Christmas gift.

A Good Read

I just finished reading, "The Stranger In The Woods", which is the true story of a man who lived alone in the woods of Maine for 27 years.

Once I started, I couldn't put it down.

Very interesting.

Thank you Karen for recommending and surprising me with this book!

On A Grisham Kick

Just started my 10th John Grisham novel, The Reckoning.

I've read the 9 books below since Novemberish.  I'm much more productive since I cancelled cable!  Instead of getting sucked into watching some foolish show or sitcom or even a movie I've seen dozens of times, I pick up a book.  I'm wicked smahta and betta edjeumakated now too.

They're easy to get hooked on and before you know it, I'm onto the next book.

As I whittle away at these Grisham books, I need to give some thought as to what author I'd like to read next?!?!

Quite The Imagination Mr. King

I just finished reading this book. Second one down, so far, this winter.

Interesting.  Held me in suspense and kept me wanting to read on!

I've Some Catching Up To Do

I just finished reading this Stephen King book.

The very first Stephen King book I read was "Thinner", which hooked me.  Following that read, I began collecting and reading all of his books at the time and enjoyed them all.  Unfortunately, it's been quite some time since I've read one of his books but I plan to start reading more of his books.

Shōgun (novel)

Shōgun (novel) by James Clavell

It's been a while but here is the latest, a highly recommended book by Vladimir (a colleague of mine). He's been pushing this book and quoting some of the books meditation techniques for the last couple of weeks, i.e. 'Listen to the rock grow', 'Learn to sip tea from an empty cup' & 'Have you ever watched a stone grow', just to name a few.

The novel recounts a highly fictionalized version of the life of William Adams a British Pilot (Navigator) on a Dutch Trader & his life after he lands in Japan at the start of the TOKUGAWA SHOGUNATE under Ieyasu Tokugawa (Tokugawa Shogunate's founder).
