It's facing in a south, southeasterly direction towards Bald Mountain. Interestingly, the state line into North Carolina is on the back side of Bald Mountain, we're that close -

Known for its high-elevation bald summits, which lack tree coverage and offer panoramic, 360-degree views. It serves as a popular destination for hiking, backpacking, and exploring the Appalachian Trail.
We'll need to hike this area and check it out. Would be nice to get a picture looking back towards our homestead.
