Pure Laziness - FedEx Edition

Back on September 29 I posted an entry titled, Pure Laziness, criticizing the Post Office for their lazy package delivery.

Today’s post is similar, however, this one is directed at FedEx.

I think we can all agree that the entire premise of FedEx is package delivery, yes?! Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the delivery based entirely on addresses? I mean we’re not playing horseshoes here’s where “close enough counts”.

That BIG oversized, heavy package in the pic below is addressed to the neighbor at house number 584. So riddle me this, why did the FedEx driver deliver it to my address 590?!

Do you see the irony in the picture below?!

The FedEx driver literally placed the package, addressed to 584, about a foot to the right of the 590 sign -

I had to use a two-wheel hand cart to lug this package to the neighbors.

You can’t make this stuff up!
