My Sunday Game Time Decisions

I'll admit it, I did watch some of the New England Patriots game yesterday.  Call me a fair weather fan if you'd like but they're winning, which makes watching the games more tolerable for me.

Plus it gave me an excuse to brake out the above snackies and a couple ice cold wobble-pops virtually guilt free, YUM!

Welcome November!

With Thanksgiving fast approaching it's time to visit Trader Joe's to pick yourself up a bag or two or more of their seasonal Thanksgiving stuffing seasoned popcorn, SO flipp'n good but addicting!

I'm a fan of Trader Joe's and shop there often for my basic staples, e.g. produce, milk and egg type things. 

Last year I stumbled upon this popcorn, took a chance and purchased a single bag because I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out it's delicious but when I went back for more, they were sold out and apparently quite popular.

So, being a seasonal item and all, I was SOL, that darn Murphy strikes again, CURSES!

But NOT this year, no sir!

I picked up these two bags earlier in the week - one bag has already been consumed, HEHEHE, and I'll be making another stop at TJ's early next week to grab a couple more.

Just a side note - I refuse to read the ingredients list on this popcorn, as I'm sure these are not the best snacks for you.  However, being good on what I eat most of the time, and these being seasonal, I'm giving myself a free pass to enjoy these guilt free!

Now I need a toothpick!

Judgement Free Zone

Admittedly, I am a recovering CheezIt addict, which I'm pretty sure I inherited from my dad and have since passed along to my youngest daughter. Please don't judge us.

Today, I regret to inform you that I've fallen off the CheezIt wagon, alas!

<sniff> I successfully fought the urge to purchase a box of these delicious snack crackers with every trip to the grocery store for months and months and months.  

But sadly, during my last visit over the weekend, the endcap display of CheezIts was just too much, that I succumbed and bought the below extra crunchy, bold cheddar box -

 And I do NOT regret it, not one bit, neener neener neener!

They are delicious, YUM!

OMG!

This changes EVERYTHING!

I can't honestly say this tastes like Thanksgiving stuffing, however, it does have a unique and yummy flavor!  If not careful, I can eat a whole bag in one sitting.  Of course, I refuse to read the ingredients, as I'm sure they're bad but since I've cut out SO much other bad things from my diet, I am going to allow myself this one vice while it lasts.

Another Trader Joe's road trip is happening soon, REAL SOON!

It Sure Was Unexpected!

Trader Joe's was giving out samples of the above Cheddar Cheese the other day. I tried a piece or three as I browsed and really enjoyed it, so I bought a package to take home.  It didn't last too long, delicious!

The Potato Chip Fair!

Look what I found in my lunch box on Monday morning!!  What a nice surprise whoever you were!

As far as biscuits and gravy goes it doesn't even come close to Clarence's Drive-In in Unicoi Tennessee.  However, for a lunchtime oomph, not too bad.

Look what I happened across at a Target in Fairfield Connecticut - WHOLE GRAIN Cheez-IT's!! Please forgive me for including a picture of my finger but I was just too excited and salivating dah!

So, perhaps these delicious snack treats aren't that bad after all!

I'm thinking some of these bad boys washed down with a frosty, cold beer on football Sundays - Go PATS!

Now, just need to see if theses tasty vittles are carried around these parts...
