What a difference a year makes!
This time last year we were suffering a heat wave with very little rain. As you can see below it took a toll on the yard, my plants too. So much so, that some perennials didn't make it and did not come back this year.
However, a very different story this summer, plenty of rain and the yard and plants and gardens are luv'n it! Of course this means the lawn needs to be cut more often, believe I did my 15th cut of the season this past Sunday but so worth it!
