This is what my tater tower looked like back on June 18th. Nine of the ten potatoes I planted sprouted and have taken off -
Fast forward to July 27th and you can see the incredible growth of these plants, pushing 6 feet!
I added (3) 4" sides as the plants grew and each time I filled the area and around the plants with compost. In hindsight I should have added more side board levels and more compost but honestly, I had no idea the plants would grow this much and this tall!
I cannot wait to harvest these and to see if this 'tater tower' was worth the effort.
