Planted my California Wonder peppers this past Sunday!
Fertilized, mulched, watered and caged!
Critters don't typically bother with peppers, at least not eating the plants. However, the deer could tromple and the rabbits and sparrow like to take dirt bath and don't care too much about where and what they damage, so to be safe they're caged to discourage.
